Egg tart recipe

1 ¼ cup hot water
½ cup sugar

4 x-large eggs
1 tsp pure vanilla
1 tsp vinegar
16 tart shells (approx.) – can be purchased from SuperStore or Costco

1. dissolve sugar in hot water and allow to cool down to room temperature (approximately 1 hr)
2. mix eggs in a bowl, add vanilla and vinegar to the eggs and mix well
3. pour the eggs mixture into sugar water (at room temperature) and mix well
4. scoop into tart shells, filling them to the very top
5. bake at 375F for 20-30 minutes (350F for 30 minutes if using convection toaster oven) or until the egg filling is no longer watery

Best served hot or warm.

    How could we have been paying .80 cents a tart all our lives??? So easy, so tasty, so cheap!
